I'm a designer, but I've always thought like a systems person. Not because someone taught me to — but because chaos bothers me, and I can't help but look for the structure underneath things.
That curiosity didn't stay inside Figma. A couple of years ago I started studying Sociology, because I wanted to understand why people behave the way they do inside the systems I build — not just how to design around it. It changed how I see my work.
Design, for me, isn't just about interfaces. It's about the conditions that make people's lives easier or harder.
I've spent 8+ years at the intersection of design systems, DesignOps, and product strategy. At UltraGroup I led a UX team and built the kind of operational foundation that lets good design actually reach people. Today I work independently — with clients who need someone who can hold both the vision and the detail at the same time.
